Genesis 25:32 (KJV) And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
Genesis 25:33 (KJV) And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
Genesis 25:34 (KJV) Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
ESAU’S BLESSING (CURSE?)
Genesis 27:30 (KJV) And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

THE CRIME

Numbers 20:9 (KJV) And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.
Numbers 20:10 (KJV) And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?
Numbers 20:11 (KJV) And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod HE SMOTE THE ROCK TWICE: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.
Numbers 20:12 (KJV) And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

Ezekiel 20:4 (KJV) Wilt thou judge them, son of man, wilt thou judge them? cause them to know the abominations of their fathers:

If We Confess Our Sin
