The Standard

The Moral Laws (10 Commandments) Are Still Valid

Romans 3:29 (KJV) Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:

Romans 3:30 (KJV) Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

Romans 3:31 (KJV) Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Sin Once -- Guilty Of All

James 2:8 (KJV) If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

James 2:9 (KJV) But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

James 2:10 (KJV) FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL KEEP THE WHOLE LAW, AND YET OFFEND IN ONE POINT, HE IS GUILTY OF ALL.

You Aren’t Good Enough!

Filthy Rags

Isaiah 64:6 (KJV) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

There Is None Righteous

Romans 3:10 (KJV) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:11 (KJV) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Romans 3:12 (KJV) They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Romans 3:13 (KJV) Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:

Romans 3:14 (KJV) Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:

Romans 3:15 (KJV) Their feet are swift to shed blood:

Romans 3:16 (KJV) Destruction and misery are in their ways:

Romans 3:17 (KJV) And the way of peace have they not known:

Romans 3:18 (KJV) There is no fear of God before their eyes.

By The Deeds Of The Law There Shall No Flesh Be Justified

Romans 3:19 (KJV) Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Romans 3:20 (KJV) Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

For All Have Sinned

Romans 3:21 (KJV) But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Romans 3:22 (KJV) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:24 (KJV) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 3:25 (KJV) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Romans 3:26 (KJV) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Romans 3:27 (KJV) Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Romans 3:28 (KJV) Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

While We Were Yet Sinners

Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:7 (KJV) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

The Wages Of Sin Is Death

Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Not All “Good” People Go To Heaven!

Ye That Work Iniquity

Matthew 7:21 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 (KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 (KJV) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:24 (KJV) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:25 (KJV) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Matthew 7:26 (KJV) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matthew 7:27 (KJV) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Matthew 7:28 (KJV) And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

Matthew 7:29 (KJV) For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

But All Their Works They Do For To Be Seen Of Men

Matthew 23:1 (KJV) Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

Matthew 23:2 (KJV) Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

Matthew 23:3 (KJV) All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Matthew 23:4 (KJV) For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Matthew 23:5 (KJV) But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

Matthew 23:6 (KJV) And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,

Matthew 23:7 (KJV) And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

Matthew 23:8 (KJV) But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

Matthew 23:9 (KJV) And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Matthew 23:10 (KJV) Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

Matthew 23:11 (KJV) But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

Matthew 23:12 (KJV) And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

You Are Going To Hell If Your Name Is Not Written In The “Book Of Life”

Revelation 20:11 (KJV) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Revelation 20:12 (KJV) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 20:13 (KJV) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Revelation 20:14 (KJV) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Revelation 20:15 (KJV) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
